{Farmhouse Pantry & Tax Day}

 Happy Tax Day! Okay, so it's not happy. But I am glad my taxes are finally filed as of last night. I am now broke (anyone else self-employed?) BUT here is a link that might help make us feel a little better. See if your city has more freebies for you than mine does. I qualify for one. Thank you Arby's.

 

 My mom redid her whole pantry out at the farm and I thought it turned out amazing! We collected jars from Ikea and Target and a lot of them she already had. We found a few at goodwill for $2 too. She bought labels at Home Depot and tied them onto each jar with a string- cute writing too, huh? She said baking is so much fun now that she is able to see every ingredient!

Hello new and invisible blog readers. Today Michele and I have decided to open our blog to the public...

In other words, it's our first post!

We (Michele & Bethy) are sisters-in-law living in pretty but now freezing North Dakota. Summers are beautiful here, but right now it happens to be January. And I am writing this instead of shoveling my sidewalk...

Besides the fact of us being family, we have grown to be best friends. Michele and I live just a few blocks away from each other.. and we see each other probably every day. This leaves us lots of opportunities for photos, hot cocoas, day trips, food-making and Pinterest project endeavors. Or at least Pinterest project planning... oh, throw in there a "we should start a blog" conversation every once in a while too.

We have lots of plans for this little blog so add us to your blog roll. We promise to update a lot. And we know you are very interested to know that yes, people do live in North Dakota.
